## There are 6 types of Canadian Coins:-

- Penny (one cent) – 1¢
- Nickel (five cents) – 5¢
- Dime (10 cents) – 10¢
- Quarter (25 cents) – 25¢
- Loonie (one dollar) – $1
- Toonie (two dollars) – $2

Nowadays, we can say that there are 5 types of Canadian Coins as Penny (one cent) is no longer in production.

## What makes a Toonie (Two dollars)?

- 200 Pennies (or cents)
- 40 Nickels
- 20 Dimes
- 8 Quarters

## What makes a Loonie (One dollar)?

- 100 Pennies (or cents)
- 20 Nickels
- 10 Dimes
- 4 Quarters

## What makes a Quarter (25 cents)?

- 25 Pennies (or cents)
- 5 Nickels
- 2 Dimes and 1 Nickel

## What makes a Dime (10 cents)?

- 10 Pennies (or cents)
- 2 Nickels

## What makes a Nickel (5 cents)?

- 5 Pennies (or cents)

## What makes a Penny (one cent)?

- Nothing makes poor Penny. But penny makes everyone. So, penny takes care of everyone.
