Remembrance Day | Sikh Soldiers of World War 1 and 2

In WW 1 & 2, the British recruited Sikh soldiers from Punjab. They defended Union Jack/Allies, guarded the Canadian line in the Battle of Ypres in Flanders Fields and fought alongside Canadian Forces at Vimy Ridge. But their contribution doesn’t get a chapter in Canadian history books?
