Bhangra Show Running-Order 

This running order is according to Yukon Time, which is Mountain Time (MST) during winters. Please note that now Yukon Time is one hour ahead of Vancouver Time and only 2 hours backwards from Toronto Time. In Winters, Time in Alberta and the Yukon is the same.

Please note that the given time of your performance is approximate. Your performance maybe a couple of minutes earlier or later.

(1) 6:00 PM- MC RP Singh will open the stage and Jordan Lincez will play Bagpipes.

      • 6:02 PM Yukon Commissioner Angélique Bernard will make the one-minute opening speech.
      • 6:03 PM: He will invite Gurdeep Pandher to say a few words.
      • For one minute, MC will introduce the first performece. 

(2) 6:05 PM- First performance: Bhangra by Gurdeep Pandher and Krisandra Reid

Song/Music: Maahi Mera

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(3) 6:11 PM- Lee Covin will play Smallpipes and/or the Irish whistle and Gurdeep Pandher will dance Bhangra

Song/Music:

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(4) 6:17 PM- Crooked Folk (Yukon based traditional Irish and Scottish musicians Keitha Clark, Jerome McIntyre and BJ MacLean) will play music and Gurdeep Pandher and his dance students (Veronique Lachance, Krisandra Reid and Ana Rita Garcia) will dance Bhangra

Song/Music:

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(5) 6:23 PM- Fusion: Ottawa Valley style of Celtic Step dancing by Evelyn Rae Mage and Bhangra by Gurdeep Pandher

Song/Music: The same music which Evelyn Rae Mage and Gurdeep Pandher used to make the video.

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(6) 6:29 PM- Bhangra by Gurdeep Pandher and Veronique Lachance

Song/Music: Kamli

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(7) 6:35 PM- Bhangra by Yukon’s Youth and Gurdeep Pandher (Video)

Song/Music:

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(8) 6:39 PM: Jordan Lincez will play his bagpipe and Gurdeep Pandher will dance Bhangra (One Minute Only)

Song/Music: Jordan will decide

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(9) 6:41 PM- Bhangra by Gurdeep Pandher and Ana Rita Garcia

Song/Music: Rangla Punjab

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(10) 6:45 PM- Irish Dance by Melanie Hackett and Bhangra by  Gurdeep Pandher

Song/Music:

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(11) 6:48 PM- Highland Dance by Devon Bidal and Gurdeep Pandher. Lee Covin will play Smallpipes. 

Song/Music:

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(12) 6:52 PM- Joint Bhangra by Gurdeep Pandher, Veronique Lachance, Krisandra Reid and Ana Rita Garcia

Song/Music: Sanjha Punjab

      • For one minute, MC will talk

(13) 6:56 PM- Punjabi Dhol Drum by Jerome with Scottish Bagpipes by Jordan Lincez and Bhangra by Ana Rita Garcia, Krisandra Reid, Veronique Lachance and Gurdeep Pandher. Keitha Clark and BJ MacLean are most welcome to join to do any freestyle dance at this time. Lee, Devon and RP Singh are also welcome to join for dancing via Zoom.

Dates:

  • Dress Rehearsal Date: Saturday, January 9, 2021
  • Show Date: Saturday, January 16, 2021

On both dates, show running time is the same: 5 PM Pacific Time/ 6 PM Yukon Time/ 8 PM Eastern Time/ 9:00 PM to 10 PM Nova Scotia Time

  • On both dates, performers will meet “one hour” before the show start time.
  • Performer meeting time on both dates is: 4 PM Pacific Time/ 5 PM Yukon Time/ 7 PM Eastern Time / 9 PM Nova Scotia Time
  • Performers, who are not from the Yukon, they will meet via Zoom. 

Yukon’s local performers will meet at 5 PM (Yukon Time) at the following location:-
