On behalf of Canadian Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen, Yukon’s Member of Parliament Hon. Larry Bagnell organized a roundtable in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory to seek views of Yukon’s cultural organizations this week on the citizenship study guide. It was wonderful to share thoughts on the behalf of Sikh and Punjabi community of the Yukon.
The MP informed the participating community representatives that the Government of Canada was working on updating the citizenship study guide to ensure it is more inclusive and reflective of Canadian diversity and our indigenous history.
