    To find joy and balance, we must have faith in time, take responsibility for our happiness, share joy with others, avoid comparison, embrace uncertainty, and find happiness in small things.

Gurdeep says, "In times of darkness, we yearn for sunshine. In moments of sadness, we search for joy. Joy for each other has the power to unite us and eradicate hatred. It serves as a reminder to break free from some narrow perspectives imposed by cultures, countries, and religions, and instead embrace all as fellow human beings and fellow travellers on this fleeting journey of life."

Gurdeep says, "Recent world events have created fears and vulnerability in the hearts of many. Humanity has witnessed and continues to witness a lot. Nevertheless, humanity has also discovered resilience by holding onto hope. Therefore, I encourage you to keep hope as your closest companion."

People will always have opinions about you, both positive and negative. However, you have the power to choose how to react. As long as your choices do not harm others and the environment, focus on what brings you joy and live authentically to find inner peace. Share your talents, style, kindness, love, compassion, and light with the world, and remember that the power to choose your own path lies within you.

As our focus on material success persists, we have become disconnected from the simple joys of life, the beauty of nature, and our connection with the environment. This disconnection from nature has resulted in various anxieties. Therefore, it is crucial, now more than ever, to take action to reconnect with nature and truly appreciate its beauty.

Recognizing Gurdeep's contributions to Canadians through his kinetic/ physical movement, creating cross cultural communications and fusions, messages of hope, and their impact, the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in St. John's honoured him with an honorary doctorate degree of "Doctor of Laws honoris causa.” in May 2023.

True joy may not solve your problems, but it can shift your approach in a positive way on how you handle your problems. So, even though joy and hope are not magic wands, they are very helpful in your navigation to find a solution.

Gurdeep at his little home in the wilderness of the Yukon. Nature is magnificent and can soothe the heart and lift spirits. When the world is too loud to hear your heart, nature is always there to listen and comfort you.
